The Peninsula of Mobile sponsors the City’s ONLY western bay shore zone as part of the the Alabama Coastal Cleanup – the State’s participation in the International event. Volunteers walk or drift in shallow vessels along the shoreline or creek bank removing litter and trash while recording every piece collected. Data collected is used across the globe to combat litter.
