Derelict Vessel Program
The Peninsula of Mobile is honored to have been chosen to work with locals in education and action for the new Derelict Vessel Program. This project is made possible through a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, with support from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Marine Debris Program with funding provided by the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act, 2021. And includes the efforts of The City of Mobile, the Mobile Police Department, and The Peninsula of Mobile.
